Version 1.6.0 of PCSX2 was released today, but I don't see a precompiled version for Mac. This download is licensed as freeware for the Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) operating system on a laptop or desktop PC from console emulators without restrictions. Though in order to be able to play these games you will require the PSX Bios which is only available if you are legally entitled to it. EPSXe is a PS1 console emulator able to play discs issued for the original PlayStation system on your Windows Desktop.
